A clear beginning.
A plan that grows with them.

You bring the knowledge of your child. We bring our clinical perspective. Together, we decide where to begin and what matters most.

Step 01 / A conversation01 / 04

Let's start with
what you're noticing.

Perhaps communication feels difficult, everyday routines are a struggle, or you have questions about learning and development. You don't need to have all the answers before getting in touch.

What this looks like
  • A conversation about your concerns and your child's strengths
  • Clarity on which professional or assessment may be useful
  • Time to ask questions before deciding how to proceed

Your part: Share what life is like at home. Your observations help us see the whole child.

Every child's pace is different. Goals and therapy frequency are discussed after understanding their needs.

03 / Why Edelweizz

The child comes first.
The family belongs here, too.

Therapy is one part of a child's life. The people, routines and relationships around them matter just as much.

At Edelweizz, our approach is holistic, transparent and collaborative. We want parents to understand the work, ask questions and feel part of the decisions.

05 / A little clarity

Questions are
a good place to start.

Here are a few we often hear. For anything specific to your child, let's have a conversation.

Ask us a question
I'm not sure which therapy my child needs.

That is a useful starting point for a conversation. Tell us what you are noticing in communication, play, learning or daily routines. Our team can discuss the relevant assessment or professional before you decide on therapy.

What happens during the first assessment?

We discuss your concerns, your child's history and strengths, and observe skills relevant to the area being assessed. The professional explains the findings and discusses next steps with you. The scope and fee can be confirmed when you enquire.

Do we need a diagnosis before getting in touch?

You can contact us with a concern or a question, even if you do not yet have a diagnosis. Our team will discuss what information or assessment is needed and whether another professional's input would be helpful.

How often will my child need sessions?

Frequency depends on the assessment, the goals and your child's needs. We discuss a practical plan with you and review it as work progresses. There is no single schedule that suits every child.

How are parents involved?

Your observations help shape the goals. We explain what is being worked on, discuss progress and offer practical guidance for everyday routines at home. You can ask questions and share what is working or proving difficult.
